10 Checklist for Buying Used Cars

Used car costs less and the insurance is a lot cheaper. Check the age and mileage.  1. Check manually if all the buttons and switch are working. 2. Brakes: If it makes noise or if the steering wheel shakes there might be problems. 3. Check all the headlights, parking lights, interior, and brake lights, wipers and sound systems. 4. Check for rust under the floor mats. 5. Check how the tires are worn out to see if there is an alignment issues. 6. If you can drive the car in up hills and down hills to see how the transmission feel.  7. AC: Put the air to the coldest temperature. If it isn't cold enough it's an indication that the compressor is old. 8. Battery: If it has cracks or any visible damage, it needs to be replaced.  9.Moldy, rusty odor means it might be flood car. 10. Fluids: Check the colors, levels and thickness of fluids.
